I wanted to give back to all those small home based sewing businesses; who are working diligently every day designing and creating art. You do believe you are an artist? Right?

Who else can take a smooth flat piece of fabric and turn it into a thing of beauty. Sewing is a dignified profession, diminished only by those who have created sweat shops and paid seamstresses pennies a day.

I love the story of the first sewing business/tailor, God! The first covering was made from fig leaves,which was inappropriate.

Then God fashioned one. But first A sacrifice had to be made in-order for Adam and Eve to have suitable clothing to with stand the elements where they were going.

I tell this story because I see you as significant to the sewing industry as well as to your personal sewing business. I hope you do also. You are the future of the small cottage industry that once boomed. It can again through you and the valuable products you create every day.
