The Right Sewing Machines for The Job

How using the right sewing machines for the job will increase productivity and save you time.

For instance quilting: who uses a regular sewing machine to quilt? No One! Use the right tools for the job. Quilting machines can be quite expensive, but worth the investment.

As time goes by more and more people want the American quilt. A quilt made with pride will have between 10 to 12 stitches per inch, hand quilted.

Today to have a quilt, hand quilted, can cost up to a $1,000 per quilt.

So you see where a good quality machine would be beneficial. You may not earn $1,000, but you can command a goodly price with a quality machine. Never skimp on sewing equipment that is your life blood as a seamstress and fabricator.

When I had my shop I did mostly hand hemming, but we would sometimes do jobs with 5 to 6 widths of fabric, that is when the blind hem stitch machine became very useful.
