My Sewing Masterpiece

My Sewing Masterpiece" is my home. It is the combination of bright colors and dark wood that complement these rooms of my home.

My dining room drapes, I chose two-tone fabric in reds and yellows. Instead of the traditional pinch pleat I went with Goblet Pleats.

The Goblet Pleat gives the Drape more interest rather than a traditional pinch pleat, especially with the use of two types of fabric. The Banding I took down the front side and across the bottom.

I carried the same reds and yellows into the bedroom with Roman shades and federal valance with tails and horn.

I broke with the red yellow theme of the home when decorating my daughter's bedroom. Little girls live in a fairy tale world of tea parties and dolls.

It has been my pleasure to showcase my home. Hope you enjoyed it. Perhaps it has given you some ideas.
